Dr. Foster was born and raised in Jefferson County Missouri, approximately 30 minutes southwest of Columbia.
She graduated in 2004 from Festus High School where she was involved in student government and athletics. Then she went on to receive her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from Drury University in 2008.
She is a 2012 graduate from the University Of Missouri St. Louis College Of Optometry, where she enjoyed student activities, intramurals, and being involved in the expanding world of optometry.
She now resides in Festus, Missouri, right across the river from Columbia, Illinois, with her husband Denny, two sons (Luke and Cole) and dog Zoey.
She is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Illinois Optometric Association and has written journal articles related to the importance of eye care, children's vision and office management for various publications.
At the local level, she is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Columbia, Columbia Rotary, Columbia Chamber of Commerce, and CROWN. She also belongs to the United Methodist Church and Women’s PEO Group. She enjoys playing coed volleyball and gardening in her spare time.

I reside right over the JB bridge in South County. In my spare time, I love spending time with my dog Stanford.
